A Warm Welcome to the Mind Body Bedtime Blog
Welcome to Mind Body Bedtime
Easy inspiration for creating peaceful, connected moments with your kids at bedtime.
What’s my message?
That kids of all ages need connection and loving touch to thrive emotionally, socially, and physically. Neuroscience shows us that simple acts of presence and gentle touch help regulate the nervous system, calm the stress response (the amygdala), and activate the “feel-good” hormones in our bodies, like oxytocin, that support bonding and trust.
A few intentional moments with you at the end of the day can do so much:
Soothe your child into restful sleep by calming the body and brain.
Support immune and physical health through reduced cortisol levels.
Model mind-body awareness that strengthens emotional regulation.
Foster creativity and problem-solving by engaging the prefrontal cortex.
Shape the developing brain to seek peace, connection, and love.
Leave your kids — and you — feeling happier and more relaxed at the end of the day
All that?
Yep!
As a nationally board certified massage therapist and daycare teacher and parent coach, I love combining insights about touch, mindfulness, imagination, and gentle play. Together, they become powerful tools to nourish your child’s development and deepen your family connection.
I’m so glad you’re here — and I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
